The Robots are Here
Do you know that as of March 2025, the majority of the images (and articles) you’re seeing online are generated by Artificial Intelligence (AKA Robots)? (Up to 71% of content on social media is now Ai generated, according to some sources.)
This means that what you see on Facebook, on Pinterest, on X etc… is often not REAL.
We don’t need to debate the morals of Ai use in content creation today (because that’s not a short conversation) but we DO need to make sure that everyone is AWARE of it and has knowledge on how to spot it.
Ai-generated images – especially when the user does not understand that they are Ai generated – can be misleading and, sometimes, outright dangerous.
It’s important that YOU (and your parents, children, friends etc) are aware of Ai-generated content and know how to spot Ai-generated content.
Some of the quick “tells” for Ai images include:
- Perfect symmetry
- Texture inconsistencies
- Background anomalies
- Too-smooth surfaces
- Impossibly glossy
- Unrealistic color
- Often missing often missing little flaws that real food has (like crumbs on a plate)
That said, Ai images are getting better and better… and we may need to start looking beyond the images for tells that the content was created by a robot.
Recipes that were generated by Ai (and never tested by a human) have obvious tells also – like vague directions or ingredients, or “about” pages that share no real life details.
The websites that produce them often produce content at an unrealistic rate – humans can not publish multiple recipes per day!
At Bite Sized Bash, all of our recipes are created, tested, and photographed by humans. You can count on our recipes to be replicable.
Here’s how you can make sure you’re seeing more REAL recipes online:
=> Like our Facebook page here – and interact with some of it’s posted recipes – this should help you see more of our Ai-free recipes in your news feed!
=> Join our mailing list here (and we’ll send you our recipes for free)
=> Read more about our story and our commitment to Ai-image free recipes here.
=> Lastly, share this information with the people you love who need to know to be cautious when it comes to believing everything they see online!
