Dump-and-Bake Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb uncooked bowtie pasta
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 24 oz water
  • 1 ½ lb chicken cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Fresh parsley for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • In a 9x13-inch casserole dish, combine uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, chicken, and seasonings. Stir to mix, then cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the top, then add the bread crumbs. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes, until the topping is golden and crispy.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
