Maple Dijon Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/3 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tsp of garlic salt
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400° and spray a 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • To a large skillet add the oil and sear the pork chops over a medium to high heat for about 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon, apple cider vinegar, garlic, garlic salt, onion powder and red pepper flakes.
  • Place the seared pork chops into the baking dish and pour the sauce all over top of them.
  • Bake uncovered for 18 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Spoon some of the sauce from the pan over the pork chops before serving.
