Pico De Gallo

A fresh, zesty, and easy-to-make pico de gallo that’s perfect for scooping with nachos, topping tacos, or adding a burst of flavor to any dish. This quick salsa is a must-have for snack time or taco night!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 ripe tomatoes (about 2 cups), diced
  • 1/3 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper
  • Nachos, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, toss in your diced tomatoes, red onion, fresh cilantro, jalapeño (if using), and minced garlic.
  • Squeeze in the juice of one lime over the mix. This is where the flavor really starts to come alive!
  • Stir everything together until all ingredients are evenly coated with that tangy lime juice.
  • Adjust salt, pepper, or lime juice as needed. If you can resist diving in right away, let the pico sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This lets all those delicious flavors meld together.
