This slow cooker chicken and gravy is a dinner recipe made with tender chicken that cooks low and slow in a creamy, seasoned gravy until it’s fall-apart soft and easy to shred. Perfect for soaking into mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Whisk together the cream of chicken soup, gravy mix and water in a medium/large bowl, then pour over into the crockpot (or just mix right in the crockpot).
Add the chicken breasts to the crockpot, and season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
When the chicken is tender, roughly shred it using two forks.
Add the shredded chicken back to the slow cooker, stir it into the gravy and cook for 15-20 minutes longer.
