Ingredients

  • 3- pound pork loin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Mix the red pepper flakes, garlic powder, minced onion, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning all over the pork loin.
  • Sear the pork roast for about 3 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
  • Place the pork roast into the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard. Pour the sauce over the pork.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, until the pork is tender.
  • Slice the pork and garnish with green onions before serving.
