Ingredients

  • 13.25 oz box vanilla cake mix
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • Food coloring – Yellow, green, red, blue
  • 24 Hershey’s Kiss candies

Instructions

  • First, preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine your cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir well with your silicone spatula until everything is blended together into a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into four small bowls. Add one drop of each food coloring to each bowl: Yellow to one bowl, Red to another, Green to the third, and a mix of blue and red to make purple for the last one.
  • Using your cookie scoop, gather dough from all four colored bowls. Try to get multiple colors in each scoop for that magical swirly effect.
  • Drop the dough onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing each cookie about 2 inches apart. Roll the top of each dough ball in sprinkles for a little extra sparkle and texture.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Keep an eye on them so they don’t over-bake.
  • As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, gently press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each one. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes to set, then transfer them to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
