Ingredients

  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • 24 edible eyes
  • 12 white candy melts
  • 12 orange M&Ms
  • 12 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 2 oz package sour patch straws
  • 6 Oreo minis
  • 24 mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • First things first, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Grab a microwave-safe bowl and toss in those dark chocolate chips. Heat them in 15-second intervals, stirring in between until they’re nice and melted.
  • Using a fork, gently dip an Oreo into the melted chocolate, flipping it to coat both sides. Once it’s fully covered, move it to your prepared parchment paper. Repeat this step for the remaining Oreos.
  • While the chocolate is still melted, take a white chocolate melt and place it on the bottom half of the Oreo.
  • Next, gently press two edible eyes into the chocolate for your penguin’s adorable gaze.
  • Chop an orange M&M in half and place it underneath the eyes to make the beak.
  • Now for the fun part! Press two mini marshmallows into the sides of the Oreo to give your penguin some fluffy cheeks.
  • To make the earmuffs, heat the sour straws in the microwave for about 15 seconds to soften them. Cut them into 1-inch pieces and stick them on top of the Oreo, between the marshmallows.
  • Pull apart the Oreo Minis and separate both layers. Dip each side in the melted chocolate.
  • Then stick them onto the front of the Oreo to create little wings.
  • Place your creation in the freezer for 15 minutes to let everything harden.
