Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp apple pie spice
  • 2 large apples chopped
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and give a small baking dish (we used an 8x6 Pyrex) a quick spray with non-stick spray.
  • In a bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 2 tbsp brown sugar, and apple pie spice until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in most of the chopped apples, saving a few for sprinkling on top later.
  • Spread the creamy apple mixture into your baking dish.
  • Time for the streusel topping: Mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, a pinch of salt, and melted butter until it’s crumbly and glorious.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the apples and that yummy streusel over the top. (You won’t need all of the topping—we used just over half. Save the rest to sprinkle over muffins or yogurt!)
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until it’s warm and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving!
