Tex-Mex Taco Bowl

This Taco Bowl is a quick and easy Tex-Mex inspired meal made with seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, fresh vegetables, and all the classic toppings like cheese, salsa, sour cream, and crunchy tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup lettuce
  • 1 roma tomato
  • 2–3 tbsp sour cream
  • 2–3 tbsp salsa
  • 1–2 green onions sliced
  • Handful of tortilla chips crushed

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef in a medium skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease, then stir in taco seasoning. Add a splash of water if needed.
  • Place half of the cooked rice at the bottom of each bowl, then top with seasoned beef and shredded cheese.
  • Add lettuce and tomato on the side of the bowl.
  • Spoon sour cream and salsa into the center.
  • Finish with green onions and crushed tortilla chips on top.
