Important Recipe Notes

  • Use a slightly firm pound cake so it holds its shape better when skewered. If it’s too soft, it may break apart easily.
  • Use fresh strawberries and make sure to pat them dry so the chocolate sticks well and doesn’t slide off.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 10–15 minutes first to help prevent splintering.
  • Melt the white chocolate slowly in short bursts so it doesn’t burn or seize. Stir well each time for a smooth texture.
  • Let the kabobs set fully at room temperature or in the fridge so the chocolate hardens nicely before serving.
  • For easier drizzling, you can thin the melted chocolate with a tiny bit of coconut oil or vegetable oil.
  • These are best served the same day for the freshest taste and texture, especially the strawberries.
