Important Recipe Notes

  • You can use fresh or frozen cranberries. If using frozen cranberries, there is no need to thaw them first.
  • Cut each biscuit into four small pieces to help them bake evenly.
  • Grease the muffin tin well to make the monkey bread bites easier to remove after baking.
  • Do not overfill the muffin cups because the biscuit dough will rise as it bakes.
  • Bake for 16–20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the biscuit pieces are cooked through.
  • Adjust the consistency by adding more orange juice if it is too thick or more powdered sugar if it is too thin.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2–3 days. Warm them briefly before serving.
  • Drizzle the orange glaze over the bites while they are still warm for an easy holiday treat.
