How to Make Crockpot Soy Honey Garlic Chicken
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step by Step Guide
1. Grate the garlic. This adds so much flavor and helps it melt right into the sauce.
2. Add everything to the slow cooker. Chicken, soy sauce, honey, hoisin, garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper—just stir it all together.

3. Set your slow cooker to low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours. Flip the chicken halfway through to make sure it gets nice and juicy all over.
4. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it right in the slow cooker. I use a hand mixer.

Serve and Enjoy!
Scoop it over rice and sprinkle with sliced scallions and sesame seeds.

Important Recipe Notes
- Use boneless chicken breast or thighs, this recipe works with either, but thighs tend to be extra juicy and forgiving if you accidentally overcook.
- Flipping the chicken halfway through cooking helps it cook evenly and soak up all that flavorful sauce.
- Use a hand mixer in shredding the chicken.
- If you prefer it less sweet, start with ⅓ cup of honey instead of ½ cup.
- If you want a thicker sauce, after shredding the chicken, let it cook uncovered for 10–15 minutes or stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water).
- This dish stores well in the fridge for up to 4 days and can be frozen for future meals.
