How to Make a Turkey Snack Board
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Place half of an apple (or pear) near the bottom center of your board. This will be your turkey’s body. Below it, add two pecan halves to create the turkey’s feet.
2. Fan out your favorite crackers above the turkey body, forming a rainbow shape. This will serve as the base layer for your turkey feathers.

3. Layer slices of salami halfway over the crackers, using different flavors to create visual interest. This adds both flavor and texture to your board.

4. Place your cubed cheeses on one layer and the sliced cheeses on another. The variety of cheese will give your snack board a delicious mix of flavors.

5. Place the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella towards the top of the board for a touch of elegance and extra flavor.

6. Surround the turkey body with whole almonds to mimic turkey feathers. It’s a fun and crunchy addition to your board!

7. Fill in any gaps with more crackers, cheese, olives, and nuts to ensure your board is balanced and full..

8. If you’re giving your turkey eyes, add them! You can use candy eyeballs with a little dab of melted white chocolate to help keep them in place.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- Use what you have: This board is super flexible. You can mix and match snacks based on what you already have in the fridge or pantry.
- Try to include a mix of colors and textures—think orange carrots, red grapes, white cheese, green cucumbers, etc. It makes the turkey “feathers” really pop!
- Build it on a large tray or board: A big cutting board, baking sheet, or even a piece of parchment on the table works great.
- Make the “turkey face” simple: Use a small bowl of dip or a round wheel of cheese for the turkey body, then add candy eyes, a slice of pepperoni for the beak, and a piece of red pepper or tomato for the wattle.
- Prep ahead: You can wash, cut, and arrange most of the ingredients a few hours early. Just cover with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until it’s go time.
- Be sure to check for food allergies if you’re serving this at a Friendsgiving with a crowd. You can easily swap out items to fit everyone’s needs.
