Important Recipe Notes

  • You can use frozen crinkle-cut, shoestring, or steak fries — cook time may vary slightly depending on thickness.
  • Adjust the number of jalapeños or leave seeds in/out to make it milder or spicier.
  • For cheese options, mild cheddar works well, but you can mix in pepper jack for extra flavor.
  • Best served hot right out of the oven. Reheating can make fries a bit soft, so consider keeping fries crisp in the oven for a few minutes before serving leftovers.
