Pecan Bacon Cheeseball

This Pecan Bacon Cheeseball is a quick and easy appetizer that’s creamy, savory, and ready in just 25 minutes. My version uses bacon bits, pecans, and cheddar cheese. It’s a great make-ahead snack to serve with crackers.

This cold dip recipe is perfect for a snack board. Serve them with your favorite crackers, veggie sticks, a slice of apple, or pretzels.

How to Make Pecan Bacon Cheeseball

Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded triple cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup bacon bits
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup sliced scallions
  • 2 tbsp milk (any kind you like)
  • 2 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Crushed black pepper, to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

1. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, milk, and all the seasonings using a hand mixer until smooth.

2. Stir in half of the bacon bits, scallions, and pecans (make sure they’re finely chopped).

3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter. Scoop the cheese mixture onto it, wrap it up, and form it into a ball shape.

4. Place the wrapped cheeseball in the fridge for about 20 minutes to set.

5. In a shallow bowl, mix the remaining chopped pecans, bacon bits, and scallions.

6. Unwrap the cheeseball and roll it in the topping mixture until fully coated.
