I love them because I don’t need anything special to make them. Just a few potatoes, some oil, and a little salt. You can bake them in the oven, but the air fryer is quicker and gives them a nice golden crunch.

How to Make Accordion Potatoes
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step by Step Guide
1. Peel and rinse the potatoes, then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
2. Slice the potatoes into pieces about ¼ to ½ inch thick.

3. Place each slice on a cutting board. Using chopsticks on both sides (to avoid cutting all the way through), make thin straight cuts on one side of the slice.

4. Flip it over and make diagonal cuts on the other side.

5. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

6. Place in the air fryer at 350°F for 30–35 minutes. Flip halfway through to get them evenly crispy.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- Make sure to slice the potatoes evenly so they cook at the same time.
- Use chopsticks or skewers to help avoid cutting all the way through.
- Flip the potatoes halfway for even crispiness.
- Serve right away for the best texture—hot and crispy on the outside, soft inside.
- You can season them with garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite herbs if you want a little extra flavor.
