Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
  • 2 medium russet potatoes

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 stalks fresh chives
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Step-by-Step Guide

4. Lightly brush each of the potato slices with olive oil.

5. Arrange potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket

6. Sprinkle them with a little salt and pepper

7. Cook at 400 degrees for 17-18 minutes, lightly shaking the basket once halfway through cooking

8. Top each of the potatoes with cheese, then bacon, then a few chives.

9. Bake for an additional 2 minutes. Remove potatoes from the air fryer, and serve hot!

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes

  • Use medium russet potatoes for the best texture and crispiness.
  • Make sure to slice the potatoes evenly (¼ inch), so they cook evenly in the air fryer.
  • Lightly brushing with olive oil helps them crisp up without adding too much fat.
  • Cook bacon over medium-low heat to avoid burning and get a nice, crispy texture.
  • Shake the air fryer basket halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.
  • Top with cheese, bacon, and chives just before the last 2 minutes to melt the cheese without overcooking.
