Important Recipe Notes

  • Thaw the puff pastry according to the package directions before using.
  • Keep the apple pie filling inside the scored border so it stays neatly in the center while baking.
  • Don’t overfill each pastry or the filling may spill over.
  • Brush the edges with egg wash for a shiny, golden finish.
  • Let the pastries cool for a few minutes before adding the glaze so it doesn’t melt completely.
  • If your apple pie filling has very large apple slices, chop them into smaller pieces for easier serving.
  • These are best enjoyed the day they are baked, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
