Christmas M&Ms Pretzel Hugs
These Christmas M&Ms Pretzel hugs are made with just 3 ingredients, and they’re an easy Christmas treat recipe. It’s one of my go-to Christmas pretzel recipes because they’re simple, colorful, and fun to make with kids.

WANT TO SAVE THIS FOR LATER?
I love this recipe because it doubles as a family activity. My kids enjoy helping unwrap the Hugs and pressing the M&Ms on top. It’s a fun way to get them involved in the kitchen without the mess of a big baking project.

How to Make Christmas M&Ms Pretzel Hugs
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Start by preheating your oven to 250°F. It’s a low temperature because we’re just looking to soften the chocolate without fully melting it.
2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent any sticking (and make cleanup easier).
3. Lay your pretzels out in a single layer on the baking sheet.

4. Unwrap your Hershey’s Hugs and place one on top of each pretzel. Make sure it’s centered so the chocolate melts evenly.

5. Pop the baking sheet in the oven for about 3 minutes. You want the Hugs to soften but not fully melt. Keep an eye on them!
6. Once out of the oven, quickly place one M&M in the center of each Hershey’s Hug, gently pressing down to create that signature “hug” effect.

7. Let the pretzel hugs sit for about an hour so the chocolate can firm up. If you’re in a hurry, you can pop them in the fridge to speed up the process.
Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- Bake just until the Hershey’s Hugs soften—about 3 minutes. If they fully melt, they’ll lose their shape.
- Press the M&M in gently so the chocolate doesn’t squish out too much.
- Let them cool at room temp for about an hour or pop them in the fridge to speed things up.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- You can swap the Hugs for Hershey’s Kisses or use different colored M&Ms for other holidays.
