Red, White & Blue Saltine Bark
This is one of the easiest 4th of July treats I’ve ever made! This Saltine Bark is a sweet and salty patriotic treat made with saltines, a buttery toffee layer, melted chocolate, and red, white, and blue toppings.

WANT TO SAVE THIS FOR LATER?
I love this recipe because it comes together with simple ingredients and is perfect for making with kids. My kids love helping line up the crackers and sprinkle on all the goodies. Also, there’s no candy thermometer needed, and it sets up in the fridge in about an hour. It’s great for potlucks, parties, or even as a 4th of July bake sale treat!

1. Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper and lay out your saltines in a single layer.

5. Pop the tray into the oven for 6–8 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the white chocolate chips on top.

7. Let them sit for a minute or two to soften, then spread the melted chocolate over the toffee layer.

9. Let the candy cool, then chill in the fridge for about 1 hour to set.
10. Once set, break into pieces.
Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes:
- Use parchment paper or a silicone mat—this candy gets super sticky, and cleanup is way easier with a lined pan.
- Don’t skip the boiling step! Boil the butter and brown sugar mixture for the full 2–3 minutes so the toffee layer sets up properly.
- Let the chocolate chips sit for a minute or two before spreading. This helps them melt smoothly without burning.
- You can also use patriotic sprinkles or red and blue chocolate candies as alternative toppings.
- Cool completely before breaking—popping the tray in the fridge for at least an hour helps everything firm up nicely.
- Make-ahead friendly! You can make this candy a few days in advance and store it in the fridge or freezer.
