How to Make Cucumber Salad
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step by Step Guide
1. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise, then slice into half-moons.

2. Thinly slice the red onion and chop the fresh dill.

3. In a medium bowl, mix together the sour cream, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

4. Gently fold the cucumber and onion into the creamy dressing. Stir until coated.

5. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour. This helps the flavors come together and gives it that nice, refreshing chill.
Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- Use English cucumbers – They have thin skin and fewer seeds, which means no peeling or seeding needed! If you’re using regular cucumbers, you may want to peel and scoop out the seeds to avoid extra moisture.
- Slice the veggies thinly to help the dressing soak in and give that soft-crunch texture that makes this salad so good.
- Let the salad chill for at least 1 hour, giving the flavors time to come together. If you’re in a rush, it can be served right away, but it’s better cold!
- If you don’t have fresh dill, you can use dried dill, but just add a pinch.
- The cucumbers will release water as they sit, so it’s best to enjoy this salad the same day for the best texture.
