How to Make Mini Piggies in a Blanket
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Start by preheating your oven to the temperature indicated on your croissant dough package, usually around 350°F (175°C).
2. Carefully open the can of croissant dough and unroll it. You’ll find 12 triangular pieces.

3. Along the perforated lines of the dough triangles, cut to make 24 smaller triangles.

4. Take a small triangle of dough, place a cocktail sausage at the wide end, and roll the dough around the sausage. Repeat this step until all sausages are snugly wrapped.

5. In a small bowl, beat the eggs and, using a pastry brush or your fingers, lightly brush each wrapped sausage with the egg wash.

6. Add a sprinkle of poppy seeds over the top.

7. Place your mini piggies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure to leave a little space between each one for even baking.

8. Pop the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-18 minutes. Keep an eye on them until they turn golden brown and the dough is cooked through.

Serve and Enjoy!
Once baked, let them cool slightly before serving. Pair with your favorite dipping sauces.

Important Recipe Notes
- Use pre-cooked sausages: This ensures the mini pigs in a blanket cook quickly and evenly.
- Don’t overfill the dough: Use just one small triangle per sausage to prevent dough from tearing while baking.
- You can skip adding the poppy seeds if you don’t have them.
- Ovens vary, so check your mini pigs around 15 minutes to make sure they don’t overbake.
- These are best served fresh from the oven, but can be reheated in a warm oven for a few minutes if needed.
