Step by Step Guide
1. Prep your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper and setting it aside.
2. Slice your apples into ½-inch thick slices. Place them on a paper towel and cover with another paper towel. Gently press down to remove any excess moisture.
3. Now, grab a knife and make a small slit at the bottom of each apple slice. Insert a bamboo stick into each slit.

4. Time to get melting! In a microwave-safe bowl, melt your chocolate wafers according to the package instructions.
5. Dip each apple slice into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing the apple onto your prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all your apple slices are covered and pop them in the fridge to harden.

6. While your chocolate-coated apples are chilling, melt the white chocolate wafers in a small bowl as directed on the package. Once melted, take the apples out of the fridge and drizzle that white chocolate over them for a little extra flair.

7. In a small saucepan, combine the melting caramels and heavy cream over low heat. Stir constantly until you’ve got a smooth caramel sauce—about 3-5 minutes. Drizzle this luscious caramel over your apple slices.

8. Sprinkle your choice of mini M&Ms, chopped peanuts, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or chopped Twix bars over the apples while the caramel is still sticky.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- Patting the apple slices with paper towels is key. Any extra moisture will keep the chocolate from sticking.
- Use crisp apples – Honeycrisp, Envy, or Granny Smith apples work best because they hold up to the chocolate and caramel without getting soggy.
- If your chocolate starts to firm up while dipping, just reheat it in the microwave for a few seconds to keep it smooth.
- Sprinkle on candy, nuts, or sprinkles right after adding caramel or while the chocolate is still tacky.
- These are best enjoyed the same day you make them since apples release juice once sliced. If you need to store them, keep them in the fridge uncovered for a few hours.
