Important Recipe Notes

  • Use fresh Hawaiian rolls for the softest and fluffiest sliders.
  • Finely chop the chicken so the sliders stay together better when slicing and serving.
  • Cook the bacon until crispy, which adds the best texture to the sliders.
  • If you don’t have Gouda cheese, you can use cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone.
  • Bake just until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly browned to keep the sliders soft.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked right before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven or air fryer so the rolls stay slightly crisp on the outside.
