Important Recipe Notes

  • Make sure to seal the biscuit dough tightly around the filling so the cheese does not leak out while baking.
  • Do not overstuff the sausage bombs or the biscuits may tear open in the oven.
  • Scramble the eggs until just slightly undercooked since they will continue cooking while baking.
  • Leave space between each sausage bomb on the baking sheet so they bake evenly and turn golden brown.
  • If the biscuit dough feels sticky, lightly flour your hands to make sealing easier.
  • You can use spicy sausage for extra flavor or swap in turkey sausage for a lighter option.
  • Freshly shredded cheese melts better, but sliced cheese works great for convenience.
  • These breakfast bombs are perfect for meal prep and can be reheated in the microwave, oven, or air fryer.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For freezer meals, let them cool completely before freezing and reheat straight from frozen when needed.
