You can make these ahead and store them in a freezer bag or container. They keep well for about a week in the freezer. Just let them sit out for a couple of minutes before eating so they’re not too hard to bite into.

  • 4 bananas
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • Sprinkles

Step by Step Guide

1. Peel the bananas and cut each one in half.

2. Insert a popsicle or lollipop stick into the cut side of each banana piece—about one inch in.

3. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for about 1.5 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.

4. Stir in the coconut oil until everything is smooth and melted.

5. Dip each banana pop into the chocolate, letting the extra drip off. Add sprinkles or toppings while the chocolate is still wet.

6. Place the pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze until solid—usually a couple of hours.

Important Recipe Notes
