WANT TO SAVE THIS FOR LATER?
There’s just something about the classic combo of juicy strawberries and creamy chocolate that makes everyone—kids and grown-ups alike—go yum! And with a touch of green, these sweet treats will be totally on theme for the holiday. They’re super easy to make, look absolutely stunning, and let’s be honest—anything dipped in chocolate is an instant win.
How to Make St. Patrick’s Day Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
Step by Step Guide
1. Rinse the strawberries in a colander and pat them dry really well—any water left on them can make the chocolate seize up. Chill them in the fridge for about an hour before dipping.
2. Using a double boiler (or the microwave in short bursts), melt the white chocolate until smooth.
3. Stick a skewer into each strawberry and dip them into the melted chocolate. Let any excess drip off, then stand them upright in a glass or a bowl filled with rice/cereal to set.

4. Before the chocolate sets completely, sprinkle a few of the strawberries with green chocolate shards. Place them in the fridge to firm up.

5. Tint the remaining white chocolate with green food coloring, transfer it to a piping bag (or a small ziplock bag with the corner snipped), and drizzle over the strawberries in a zig-zag pattern. Repeat with melted dark chocolate for extra contrast.

6. Pop them back into the fridge for about 20 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.
Serve and Enjoy!

These Chocolate-covered strawberries are best enjoyed fresh, so serve them up right away! Arrange them on a pretty platter, garnish with extra berries, and if you’re feeling fancy, pair them with a glass of bubbly.
Whether you’re celebrating with family, hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party, or just looking for a fun treat to make with the kids, these festive, chocolate-dipped strawberries are a guaranteed hit.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and may the luck of the Irish (and plenty of sweet treats) be with you!
