Important Recipe Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken works great in this recipe and saves time on prep.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened and melted before mixing in the seasonings for the smoothest filling.
  • Cooked and crumbled bacon can be used instead of bacon bits for even more flavor.
  • Don’t overbake the sliders, as the rolls can become dry. Bake just until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
  • Covering the sliders with foil during the first part of baking helps keep the rolls soft while the filling heats through.
  • For extra flavor, brush the butter evenly over the tops of the rolls before adding the parmesan cheese.
  • Freshly shredded cheddar cheese melts better than pre-shredded cheese and creates a creamier texture.
  • These sliders can be assembled a few hours ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer for the best texture and to keep the rolls from becoming soggy.
