How to Make Iron Skillet Apple Pork Chops

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 3 minutes per side, until nicely browned. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, then stir in the apple wedges, onion wedges, and bacon. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.


5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 25 minutes.

6. Remove the skillet, place the pork chops on top of the apples and onions, and return to the oven. Bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the pork reaches 145°F inside.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
