How to Make Melted Snowman Sugar Cookies
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Place cookie dough on the sheet, leaving 2–3 inches between each cookie. Bake 13–15 minutes, or until done.

3. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then move to a wire rack for about 10 minutes.
4. Cut Reese’s Cups in half to make the little hats.

5. Mix powdered sugar and milk together in a small bowl to make a thick icing.

6. Working in small batches, add a spoonful of icing to each cookie and gently spread it out in an uneven circle to look “melty.”

7. Place half a Reese’s Cup on top as a hat.

8. Add 2 mini chocolate chips under the hat for eyes, an orange sprinkle for the nose, and 2 Mini M&Ms for buttons.

9. Let the icing set for 20–30 minutes before serving.
Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- For the Cookie base, store-bought sugar cookie dough makes this recipe quick and easy, but you can also use your favorite homemade sugar cookie recipe.
- Make sure your icing is thick enough to hold the decorations in place. If it’s too thin, add more powdered sugar; if too thick, add a tiny splash of milk.
- Decorate just a few cookies at a time so the icing doesn’t set before you add the candy.
- If you don’t have orange sprinkles for the nose, you can swap in an orange Mini M&M or even a small piece of candy.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. They’ll stay fresh for about 3–4 days.
- You can bake the cookies a day in advance, then decorate them the next day when you’re ready.
