WANT TO SAVE THIS FOR LATER?
These cookies are also ideal for holiday gift-giving. I like packaging a few in small tins or clear treat bags and sharing them with teachers, neighbors, or friends. You can customize it by adding colorful sprinkles, drizzling with chocolate, or even sandwiching them with extra frosting.

How to Make Peppermint Oreos
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step-by-Step Guide
1. First things first, we need to get that candy cane crunch ready. Toss a few candy canes into a zip-lock bag, grab a rolling pin, and go to town! Smash them into small bits—but not too fine.
2. Melt your white chocolate chips in the microwave. I like to do it in 20-second bursts, stirring between each round until it’s silky smooth.

3. Grab one Oreo and dip half of each into the melted chocolate. Place your dipped Oreos on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. Now, while the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the top of each cookie. You can toss on some red or green sprinkles for options.

5. Let your Peppermint Oreos sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens. If you’re in a hurry, pop them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- Don’t crush the candy too fine. You want small, chunky pieces to add texture and crunch.
- In melting chocolate, microwave in short 20-second bursts and stir each time to prevent the chocolate from burning.
- Dip one cookie at a time for best results, and use a fork or toothpick to help lift them out.
- Let the cookies set at room temperature, or chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes if you want them firm faster.
- Add festive sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft to make them extra colorful.
