How to Make Spinach Dip Pinwheels

Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach (thawed and well-drained)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup (half packet) Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
  • ½ cup bacon pieces
  • 4 oz water chestnuts (chopped)
  • 4 spinach flour tortillas

Spinach Dip Pinwheels Process Ingredients

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Chop the water chestnuts.

2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed spinach, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and the magic ingredient—Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix.

3. Fold in the chopped water chestnuts and crispy bacon pieces.

4. Take a spinach tortilla and spread a quarter of the spinach mixture evenly over the surface. Roll it up tightly, starting from one end to the other. Do this for all four tortillas.

5. Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.

6. When you’re ready to serve, unwrap the plastic and slice off the ends. Then, cut each roll into 6 pieces, about 1 inch each. Arrange them nicely on a platter.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes

  • Make sure your thawed spinach is squeezed dry to avoid a watery filling.
  • Finely chopping water chestnuts keeps every bite easy to roll and eat.
  • Refrigerate the rolled tortillas for at least an hour. This makes them easier to slice and helps them hold their shape.
  • You can prepare them the day before a party—just cover tightly and keep refrigerated. Slice them just before serving for freshness.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or a few chopped green onions to the filling.
