This Cinnamon Roll Dip is creamy, sweet, and swirled with cinnamon sugar icing, basically all the best parts of a cinnamon roll in dip form. It’s super quick to make for holiday snacks, party appetizers, or a movie night treat.

This dip is rich and smooth, with little pieces of cinnamon rolls folded in for texture. Serve it with graham crackers, apple slices, pretzels, or mini cinnamon sugar cookies for dipping.

How to Make Cinnamon Roll Dip

Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz tub of whipped topping
  • 1 cup cinnamon roll pieces
  • 3.5 oz Kerrygold cinnamon sugar butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • Graham crackers or apples for dipping (optional)

Step-by-Step Guide

1. In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, cinnamon, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Beat on the lowest setting with a hand mixer until creamy.

2. Fold in the whipped topping with a silicone spoon—don’t stir. Gently fold in the cinnamon roll pieces.

3. In a small bowl, microwave the cinnamon sugar butter for 15 seconds. Stir in the powdered sugar until thick enough to drizzle like icing. Add more powdered sugar if needed.

4. Put the cinnamon sugar mixture in a small ziplock bag. Cut off a small corner and drizzle over the dip in circles, starting from the center and getting bigger, just like a cinnamon roll swirl.

5. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and top with more cinnamon roll pieces if desired.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  • You can use store-bought cinnamon rolls or homemade ones. 
  • Don’t have Kerrygold butter, cinnamon sugar butter? Make a cinnamon sugar mixture(1/3 cup) and add it to about 5 tbsp of butter.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is room temperature.
