Step-by-Step Guide

1. Heat your oven to 350°F and line a square baking dish with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently. Once the dough thickens, switch to a spatula and fold until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!

5. Fold in the Easter M&Ms, reserving a few to sprinkle on top for extra color.

6. Spread the dough into your prepared baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden and puffy. The edges should be slightly crisp, but the center should still be soft.

8. Let them cool completely before slicing into squares.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes

  • Don’t overmix the batter once you add the flour; it helps keep the blondies soft and chewy.
  • Keep an eye on the baking time—edges should be slightly crisp, but the center stays soft.
  • You can add extra M&Ms on top before baking for a brighter, festive look.
  • Let the blondies cool completely before cutting to keep them from falling apart.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
