How to Make Easter Cracker Bark

Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Robin Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Easter M&Ms
  • Peeps Easter sprinkles (or any fun pastel sprinkles!)

Step by Step Guide

1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer, covering the entire pan.

2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Stir constantly until the mixture starts to bubble, then let it simmer for about 3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

3. Carefully pour the caramel mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly. Bake in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes, or until it’s bubbly and golden.

4. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot caramel layer. Let them sit for a minute or two to soften, then use a spoon to spread the melted chocolate evenly. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top and swirl it with a toothpick for a pretty marbled effect.

5. While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle on the Robin Eggs, M&Ms, and festive Easter sprinkles. Press them in slightly so they stick as the bark cools.

6. Pop the tray in the fridge for about an hour. Once the bark is fully set, break it into pieces and enjoy!

Serve and Enjoy!

Put it on a tray to serve, and watch it disappear in no time! You can also package it in cute treat bags or decorative tins to make a sweet homemade gift for friends, family, or even teachers.

And that’s it! This Easter Cracker Bark is the no-stress treat that looks impressive but comes together so easily. Whether you’re making it for Easter baskets, a spring party, or just to satisfy a chocolate craving, it’s sure to be a hit!
