Merry Munchies: Christmas Rolo Pretzel Bites

Looking for an easy holiday treat that’s both fun to make and absolutely delicious? These Christmas Rolo Pretzel Bites are the perfect sweet-and-salty snack for your festive gatherings. They take just a few minutes to prepare, and with melty Rolos, crunchy pretzels, and colorful M&M’s, these bite-sized treats will be a huge hit with kids and adults alike!

How to Make Christmas Rolo Pretzel Bites

Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe
  • 48 dark salted caramel Rolos (you can switch this up with milk chocolate Rolos too!)
  • 48 pretzel snaps (mini twists or waffle rounds work well too)
  • 48 red and green M&M’s
  • ¼ cup of holiday nonpareil sprinkles

Step by Step Guide

1. Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on the tray. Pop one Rolo on top of each pretzel.

3. Bake for 2-3 minutes, just until the chocolate softens but doesn’t fully melt. If the Rolos are at room temperature, 2 minutes should do the trick. If they’ve been in the fridge, give them 3 minutes.

4. Decorate quickly! Remove the tray from the oven and press a red or green M&M into the top of each Rolo. Add a sprinkle of nonpareils to make them extra festive. Work fast before the chocolate sets!

5. Let them cool and set. You can either leave them out at room temperature for about 20 minutes or pop them in the fridge for 10 minutes to speed up the process.

Although these bites are decked out for Christmas with red and green M&M’s, you can easily switch up the candy colors and sprinkles for other holidays. Think pink and red for Valentine’s Day, pastel for Easter, or orange and black for Halloween!

Got leftovers? (Unlikely, but just in case!) Store your Rolo Pretzel Bites in an airtight container on the counter for up to 2 weeks. You can also refrigerate them for up to 3 weeks if you want to keep them fresh longer.

And there you have it! These Christmas Rolo Pretzel Bites are a must-try for the holiday season. They’re so simple to make, but they pack a punch with flavor and festive flair. Whether you’re making them for a party, as a quick family snack, or to give as a holiday gift, these little bites of sweet-and-salty goodness are sure to be a favorite.

So grab your pretzels, Rolos, and M&M’s, and get ready to enjoy some holiday fun!
