Important Recipe Notes
- Use clear or blue Jello to get that perfect “water” effect—blue works best for the ocean vibe!
- Gummy fish candies are the easiest way to create the “fish” in your cups, but you can also try Swedish fish or other sea-themed gummies.
- Prepare the Jello according to package instructions, but chill it long enough so it sets firmly before adding toppings.
- These cups can be made a day ahead and stored covered in the fridge—just add the gummy fish right before serving to keep them looking fresh.
- For an adult-friendly twist, try adding a splash of clear soda or sparkling water to the Jello mix before it sets for a fizzy surprise!
- Storing tip: Keep the Fish Bowl Jello Cups covered tightly with plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They’re best enjoyed within 2-3 days for the freshest taste and texture.
