Important Recipe Notes

  • Work quickly with the chocolate: The white chocolate can harden fast, so add the candy eyes, candy corn, and shredded wheat before it sets.
  • Use parchment or freezer paper: This prevents the cookies from sticking while the chocolate dries.
  • In melting the chocolate, follow the directions on the package and stir frequently to avoid burning.
  • Let cookies fully dry: Make sure the chocolate and candy melts are completely set before serving or stacking.
  • Keep the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
