This dip works well as a hot appetizer for game day, birthday parties, family movie night, or any casual get-together. I love making it when we have friends over because everyone can just grab a chip and dig in.
It is best served warm with tortilla chips, slider buns, or waffle fries, and it also pairs really well with a fresh side salad or crispy baked potato wedges.

8. Once the dip is done, top with pickles, tomato, bacon, shredded lettuce, and sesame seeds. Drizzle with burger sauce before serving.

Serve & Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes
- After cooking the ground beef, make sure to drain the extra grease. This keeps the dip from becoming too oily.
- Soften the cream cheese first. Let it sit at room temperature before mixing. Soft cream cheese blends much easier and gives you a smooth dip.
- Use freshly shredded cheese if you can. Pre-shredded cheese works, but freshly shredded melts smoother and tastes better.
- Do not overbake. Bake just until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Overbaking can make the dip dry around the edges.
- Add fresh toppings after baking. Lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles should go on right before serving so they stay fresh and crisp.
- Serve warm. This dip tastes best warm and melty. If it cools down, you can reheat it in the oven for a few minutes.
- Adjust to your family’s taste. You can add more pickles for extra tang, leave out the lettuce for picky eaters, or even add a little diced onion if your family likes more crunch.
