How to Make Loaded Tater Tot Skewers
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preheat the oven and bake the tater tots according to the package directions—usually 425°F for 25–30 minutes.
2. Flip them halfway through for even browning.

3. Once cooled slightly, slide 6 tater tots onto each wooden skewer. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper and place the skewers on it.

4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots, then add crumbled bacon pieces.

5. Return the skewers to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Remove from the oven and top with chives.

Serve and Enjoy!
Serve warm, drizzled with sour cream on top or on the side for dipping.

Important Recipe Notes
- For best results, do not thaw before baking—this helps them stay crispy.
- Let the tater tots cool slightly before threading them onto the skewers to avoid breaking or burning your fingers.
- Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the tots and bacon for a nice melt. You can use more or less depending on your preference.
- Pre-cook and crumble bacon ahead of time to save prep during party day.
- These are best served right out of the oven with sour cream for dipping.
- Try adding diced green onions, jalapeños, or a drizzle of ranch for extra flavor.
