How to Make Lil Smokies Tater Tot Bites

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preheat oven to 425° and spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
2. Place 2-3 slightly thawed tater tots in each cup and bake for 10 minutes.

3. Remove from the oven and press the tots down to create a hollow for the filling.

4. Slice the cheddar cheese into 4 small squares.

5. Place a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese into the bottom of each tater tot cup.

6. Add a few pieces of Lil Smokies on top.

7. Bake 10-15 minutes more until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.

8. Let the bites cool for a few minutes before removing from the muffin tin. Drizzle the barbecue sauce and mustard.

Important Recipe Notes
- Thaw slightly the tater tot to help them press easily into muffin tin cups. Fully frozen tots may break apart.
- For Cheese, you can shred cheddar or mix in other cheeses like mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor.
