How to Make Hedgehog Cookies
Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preheat the oven to 359 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Stir the cake mix, oil, and eggs together in a large bowl until a dough forms.

3. Use a 1½ tablespoon cookie scoop to gather dough and drop onto the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.

4. Use a spoon to make a small well in the center of each cookie. Press sprinkles into the sides and top.

5. Bake for 8–10 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and gently press the center down again if needed. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
7. Once cooled, set aside ¼ cup of the melting wafers. Melt the remaining ¾ cup in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each time.
8. Spoon the melted chocolate into the center well of each cookie. Let it set.

9. Add the remaining ¼ cup of melting wafers to a piping bag and heat for 30 seconds. Massage the bag and repeat until melted.
10. Snip the tip of the bag and pipe small white chocolate dots on each side of the center for cheeks and at the top middle for the nose.

11. Once set, add a small dab of black icing on the nose and two small dabs above for the eyes.

Serve and Enjoy!

Important Recipe Notes

- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- These cookies are best enjoyed within the first 24–48 hours for the freshest taste and texture.
